What Do I Need To Become a DCL Delivery Manager? (FAQs)
What are the requirements to become a delivery manager on DCL platform?
All you need is your means of transportation. This might be a bike, motorcycle, car, and your smartphone. Currently we do not offer any vehicles or smartphones to third-party delivery managers. However, this might be considered in the nearest future as we are working towards it.
Note: You must have a driver's license and all necessary documents for your vehicle before you can work with us. The documents must be valid for at least one year.
What does DCL offer delivery managers?
While our delivery managers are an integral part of the team, their appearance and wellbeing mean a lot to us. After the onboarding phase is completed, they will be offered a helmet, vest, delivery box, pair of boots and socks, Bluetooth, hand gloves, raincoats, and a registered hospital card.
However, please note that all these might not be provided at once. With time, we will ensure every delivery manager working with us gets each item as promised.
How do I make money while working with DCL?
The means of earning on our platform is simple! We connect customers/consumers/clients to partnered merchants/vendors. When orders are placed, our admin assigns them to any of the delivery managers close to the pickup locations.
Do I need to have any prior knowledge about delivery?
Absolutely not! All you need is to know how to use a smartphone effectively. You will be assisted with training on how to handle deliveries during the onboarding phase.
